ZUMBAAAAA

        Hii guys, so this week were in charge of TV. I was on TV on Monday. I have no idea why, but I think I made the intro on Wednesday.. My intros aren't fancy and fun because if I take too long, I'm gonna get judged -.- So I don't take much time on the font and everything, I just make sure it has the date, periods, who its starring, and "Welcome to Ilima TV" if I don't have those things, I'm dead... Monday wasn't very quiet in the TV room, which is really weird because it usually isn't that loud. I remember on Monday, for some reason, my intro wouldn't restart again, so Taylor was at the mixer just pressing the replay button lol. She looked like she was having fun. Tuesday wasn't much... I'm actually not sure what happened on Tuesday... Wednesday, yaas hump day, in the morning everyone in TV was helping Mrs. Onbe with the little AR iPads that said "I made my AR goal." I didn't make my AR goal doe -.- I'm working on it. I'm working on it. After school was fun because we taught zumba to the dance group people. Our dance was ok, too much workout lolol. Jumping jacks and everything. Thursday was a hassle, I think. Idk I'm not really sure what happened on Thursday.. Friday I think was the day where we changed the marque, it was so tiring. I stepped in mud a lot... But I stayed after school because Petriese wanted to say the zumba stuff and then I went to my Science Olympiad meeting thing.

          My highlight of the week would be Friday. I love Friday's because I get to just stay home and wake up the next day whenever I want. I had a lot of fun Friday too, I had TV that day, I was on TV too. I also did period 1's zumba. I always get confused on which way I'm supposed to go. There's people going to the left then to the right, then there's people who's going from the right to the left, and then you have me, I'm just standing there acting like I know what was going on. Their dance was really fun though, I really like their routine though, it's fun and energetic, but I don't have any clue on how to most of their dance move thingys. The lowlight of my week would also be Friday. I got a D in science because I didn't turn in my conclusion essay. I was just about done with my essay until she said, "I'm done accepting essays for the day. Don't turn any more inn because I'm not going to accept it." and I'm like "What is this?? I'm almost done what the heck." So I couldn't turn in my essay and now I'm on probation. How nice is this? -.-

           Lesson learned, don't be so paranoid about things, (Petriese lolol ily, your eyebrows look great girl) because if you're paranoid, that's when people are going to start to notice and tell you about it. Being paranoid makes it more obvious, so if you start making it obvious that's when people are going to start telling you about it girl. Another lesson is don't be so unconcfident. You have to be confident in life, or you won't get far in your life, when were dancing our dance for the dance group, some of us didn't look very confident about it. If you show confidence, then that's when people are going to dance along and everything idk if that's good advice but lol at least try it. But you can't be too confident because that'd just be bad.

             Hiiiii guys, so this week was pretty gee'. We were in charge of music this whole week. It was really tiring because I didn't want to be music for both recess and in the morning because I wanted to be social and go outside and everything even though I might be to lazy to do that, I really did wanna go outside... It's a good thing Taylor got off probation, but I still had to work anyways -.- lol. Music is fun sometimes because you get to get out of class early and we get to choose music for everyone. Its sad that we stopped playing the good music because it creates crowds around the speakers and that's really bad, but we had to or else something bad would've happened. While doing the bulletin, oh my gosh, Petriese had to put more bass or whatever into the speakers because my voice was too high.. It's ok though, I think I know how to make my voice lower. We also painted this week!! I love painting, but there was only one color to paint with ): black.. I painted letter "A" for the evacuation. It was bold and pretty lol. Oh yaas, evacuation, I really had no clue what I was doing, I was just standing there telling people that the line had to be behind me because I was the starting of the line for the 2nd floor of C building... I was really tired though and one of the girls in D building was making fun of the way I was standing up. I just had my right leg in front of my left leg.. Idk whats so funny about that. Our zumba dance!! We like FINALLY finished our zumba routine. It took us a long time, but we finally finished our zumba routine thank goodnesssss.

          The highlight of my week would be Friday. I'm not sure why, but Friday was just like one of the week. We had evacuation which was fun even though I was just standing there doing nothing. Friday was also the day we finally finished our zumba routine and I was happy because we finally got it done yayayayyayay. Friday was a fast day too. I had kind of a lot of fun after school at my meeting for the science Olympiad.. I'm a nerdddd. The lowlight of my week would be some parts of Friday. Recess music was real hassle. I came in the earliest, but I was the only one there!! I was rushing because the bell was about to ring, but no one was there to help me and I was panicking because the bell was about to ring, then once the bell rang, I didn't know which song to play so I just played a random song, then about 2 minutes later, that's when everyone came in and I was like, "Oh thank goodness you guys are here. Someone take over for me." I don't know which songs to play so I mostly just fade the songs and everything instead of picking the songs....

           Lesson learned, sometimes you have to make sacrifices for certain things so that no one and nothing gets broken or hurt. It's better to let go of the good things instead of keeping the good things and having something bad occur. Making sacrifices is something that every human being must do. Another lesson learned, don't get so defensive. Being defensive can be a bad thing sometimes. I mean, we live in Hawai'i, there are so much people out there that are going to say and do things that might make you defensive, but I wouldn't take it so seriously because they're always just joking with you. You also shouldn't panic sometimes because panicking makes the event even more panicky. Lol, but panicking isn't always the best idea because you work better when you're calm. It's always better if you're calm instead of panicking in certain situations. Oh and one last lesson, speak up. If you don't communicate with others, it's going to make life much harder because life is about communicating. Communication does more than you would even think.

Looooong week

         This week was okay. It wasn't as fun as last yearr but, its okay. Anyways, this week, on Monday, I finally got to turn in my video essay!! I didn't get to turn it in on Friday because it wouldn't import into the computer. So, Monday we had ID's, in my opinion, ID's is the most boring job 😂😂😂😂 lolol. Its kinda fun because I get to talk and bond with my group and my grouo leader. Tuesday wasn't so bad either, idk much that happened on Tuesday... My memory sucks... Wednesday was the same exact thing, but I had more fun. I went to BK with Julia them. I had so much fun bonding with the 8th graders 😂 Hope took so many off guard pictures. Thursday was the most funnest day out of the whole week!!! Oh my goodness, it was Chez's burfday on Thursday, Idk her that muchhh, but she's awesomeee ☺️. I liked the big paper card thingy Petriese them made for her. It's really nice. We also got assigned a Zumba dance -.- . Our song is Ice Ice Baby. I was sad that it was KIND of like dancing, cuz I suck at dancing. I can't dance at allllll, but during our period on Thursday, we got through like 1:11 minutes in the song. It was boring a little, but we had fun making it and ayyyyye, zumba is excersing, not much dancing, but its kinda more excersing than dancing. Friday was gee' I stayed after school to watch the ACE dance club thingy. They're doin good I think. I know a lot of people thats in the ACE dance club. We also had a binder check on Friday... Tiana was the person that would get us all an A. Idk if she got us an A or not, but lol good job Tiana (Not in a mean way tho 😂 ilysm 💕) she had her zumba routine in her binder but in the wrong tab LOL, its okay girl. Its okay. Idk what else happened this week bc my memory sucksssssssss.

          The highlight of my week would be Thursday. That was the best day this whole week! Our zumba routine was really fun even though it was more "stretching" than dancing, but zumbais exercise girrly. I tried dancing to Julia's song, it was hard cuz I can't dance for crap 😂. Idk how they dance like that. And I was happy with our routine. We had exsercising stuff in it. I think we did good on our routine. We work well as a team. Thats what I like about ny group, we work well together. Even if some of us had some difficulties throughout the dance, we helped each other out. Even though it might've been irritating and tiring to start the dance over and over again 😂, we work well together and we're awesome. The lowlight of my week would be Monday. I was a little late because I forgot my ID, and I had to buy another one. I was walking by myself to school, then once I was close to Campbell, I saw that I didn't have my ID on. I looked EVERYWHERE in my backpack. Noooope, no ID. So I had to RUN all the way back to my house and look for my ID, once I got home, I rushed into the house. I looked everywhere, bu I couldn't find it. I started to panic so I went into my mom's room and I was like "Have you seen my ID?" And she's like "No, take the $20 in my bag. You better find your name tag Jenaya." I was scared a little, I thought she'd yell at me. But then yaah, I had to rush back to Ilima. I got there I think around 7:20, I was like "Oh my goodness." Then after school, I found my ID in my OTHER backpack!!! I had no idea what it was doing there, but apparently, I didn't look good enough...

         Lesson learned, working as a team, is better than working alone. On Thursday after school, I tried practicing the routine, but then I couldn't because I was so used to having other people with me. I like having to work as a team because as a team, you learn more, teach more, and bond more too. I couldn't really practice much because I liked having my team with me. Another lesson I learned this week issss, to never forget anything.. Always make sure that you have everything before you start the day because if you forget something important, you'll end up finding yourself going back to get that thing you forgot and end up making a bad start of the day. Its not a fun feeling.. So always make sure that you're ready and dandy so that you're day won't end up badly and you won't waste your time going back and not finding that thing you forgot. 1 more lesson, I think. It doesn't matter if you're alone. SOMETIMES being alone makes things faster, like walking to school. Idk why, but when I walk with people, it takes me more than 20 minutes to walk to school, but when I walk by myself, it takes me at least 15 minutes to walk to school. Being by yourself can make things go more smoother and faster. Sometimes at least ;).

Assignment Blog: Video Essay

           Making my video essay was a hassle. OMGGG, it took me sooo long just to make the video essay. I remember this one time, I was at my dad's house while working on my essay and I finished all of my videos to make the essay but when I watched the videos over again, I could hear my older brother and my dad screaming at each other because of a game in the background -.- ... It was funny though LOLOL. My video took 5ever to make, but when I did make the video essay, I couldn't import the video onto the computer!! So I had to re-edit it again!! I still had fun making my video essay, even though it took me sooo long just to make my essay... The best part of making my essay was my talent. I had a lot fun singing Slow Motion by Karina Pasian. That's like my most favorite song ever!! Anyways, making my essay was the most fun experience. Even making my slideshow was fun. My theme was pandas. Pandas are just so adorable. The slide that I had a hard time with, was the new program slide. I had a hard time coming up with a new program, and especially since all the programs I thought about having, I wouldn't be able to be in charge of that program. So it was a difficult thing for me to do. the ting that I had the most fun with in my slideshow would be the first slide. I loved fixing up my photo of me. Idk why, I just KINDA like that picture :). I also really like the symbols that I had in my slides. I love putting symbols in my slides. I watched ALMOST everyone else's videos. I saw Cheana's, Petriese's, Joy's, Deriecka's, Tia's, and Tay's too. I liked everyone else's video. My video was really bad.... Joy's and Deriecka's video was like almost the same!!! It kinna freaked me out LOL.

             The highlight of my video essay is my slideshow. In my opinion, I like my slideshow WAYY better than my video. My slideshow told me more about me than my video I think.. I really did like my slideshow even though my slideshow wasn't as pretty as I thought it would be. I was kinda happy with my slideshow though. Even if everyone else's slideshow was better than mine, I was really happy with my slideshow. I know most people like their video better than their slideshow, but I think that my slideshow looks better and says more about me than my video, well, at least I think it does.. The lowlight of my slideshow and video essay would be that I turned it in late :(. It supposed to be due on the 5th, but I had to turn it in late because the last video I made, couldn't go into the file because I used a certain app on my laptop that wasn't found on the computers at school... But ayye, I still turned it in, and I was happy. yet I was disappointed in myself because I didn't turn it in on time.

          Lesson learned about my video essay is that you should use your time wisely. I forgot to add something small to my video, so I had to add it the day it was due!! Luckily, I finished it pretty fast. But even though I finished is pretty fast, I should've watched the video over again instead of thinking that it was good and that I didn't have to fix it or anything. Another lesson learned, ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK YOUR WORK. Anywaysss, GLO's. The GLO that is included in my video would be GLO #6: Effective and efficient user of technology. I used that GLO pretty well, everyone used a certain wbsite or app that includes technology to make their video interesting and pretty. Another GLO that I use iss GLO #3: Complex thinker. I used that GLO because I remember when I needed to turn in my video, I couldn't import mt video from my phone to the computer because for some reason, my phone wouldn't show up on the screen. So I thought, "Hmm, why not connect my phone to the laptop?" So I did, then I imported my video to the iPhoto app thingy on the laptop. I then took my flash drive and imported the video onto my flash drive! And theeen *bum ba da buuum* vualla lol idk, plugged in the flashdrive and put my video into the file on the computer! (: So smart lolol..

          Some things that I would change about my video would be my entire video... I didn't do well on it. I was wearing my uniform in half of it *laughing emoji (x5 million)* because I though, "Oh wh not." But then I was like, "Naya, you're so stupid." I also would like to change the song that I sang because like I don't like the way I sang in the song 😂 My voice is too high... I don't even know if I sang the song good lol. I also didn't like the way I edited my video. My editing sucksss. I don't know how to edit videos, I really suck at it 😂😂😂 omg. I'm okay with my video, its just that the way I edited it was the worst editing in the world... I should really learn how to start editing videos because I really messed up   that video... Something that I would change about ny slideshow, would be the background. My background is black and white which makes it hard to see the letters and words. I still liked my video and slideshow though (:

Crazy, short week

         This week was a short week, but it was filled with so many surprises... Some of those surprises were *drum roll please* ===> T.V. intros, changing of jobs, unexpected pep talks, and technical difficulties... This week on Tuesday since we didn't have school on Monday because it was labor day, I was assigned to make the intro. It didn't go so well, the last slide kept saying, "Error. Slide cannot show" or something like that so I was getting frustrated. I just decided to try and burn the intro, when the intro burned, I ran to the library and the last slide said, "Error. Slide cannot show" again!! So I ran to back to the class and I redid the whole entire 3 slides, once it burned, I ran as fast as I could all the way to the library again, but it was just that last slide ={ The "September" part was the only part that was showing!! I was so mad!! That DVD Studio takes sooo long to burn the intros!!!!! And The intro didn't even take me 30 minutes, I got in the class at 7:15, and burned it at around 7:25. The DVD Studio takes long ={, but its okk. I know what I have to do next time, but I was glad i still got a 3/3 for that day. Thanks to my Mickey Mouse voice toning down a bit. It was kind of hard to keep track of the way my voice sounded, but I tried. I also had after school sales that day, that was the only day out of the whole week I had after school sales. Then the rest of the days were for the group leaders.Then came Wednesday, I was working with Julia on lunch music. The music took long to put in, idk why though..... I know what to do next time I work on lunch music too, all I have to do is, go on the iPod thing, take the songs from yesterday, delete those songs, then get new ones. Easy LOL. On Thursday I was assigned to be in the TV room, I was in control of the mixer so it was pretty easy. The intro didn't get burned in time because of the DVD Studio. Uggh technology. The DVD Studio thing was having problems lately... Anyways, on Thursday, I went to a different homeroom! Since Mr. Ing had to go to the cross country thing, so all of us went to their team's teacher. Hopey and I went to Mrs. Miya's class for homeroom. It was very interesting. I was coloring as Mrs. Miya put up this x factor audition of these two kids singing about anti bullying.. Friday!! That was the best day! On Friday, I was supposed to be ID's, but Mr. Ing told me to go to the TV room and be in control of the mixer too. Sudden change of plans!!! I was ready for it though. While in the TV room, we had 2 special guests from the NJHS. When it was their turn to speak, I turned the mixer to the black screen and they were all ready! Once the announcements were over, I switched the mixer back to the black screen, and Tiana was ready to go back on TV. The announcements were good, other than the fact that the laptop froze, and the bulletin didn't work anymore. The bulletin finally worked, but it was the bulletin from Thursday :c. Also on this day were the video essay due dates!! My video essay was edited on this app I downloaded on my computer, so I wouldn't transport on to the computer, so I have to change it into a different kind of thing. I don't know how to explain it LOL.

       The highlight of my week would be Thursday. Honestly, that day was so fun for me. Mrs. Miya's class is really fun :D. LOL, I was having fun coloring and singing along to the x factor audition song thing. My job on that day was really fun and easy too! I don't have a hard time being charge of the mixer, or being in charge of the computer, or being on TV, except that I talk to fast. Another highlight would definitely be Friday. I had a hard time with my video essay that day so it didn't go too well for my video essay, but I was glad that I finally got a LITTLE bond with Petriese. We didn't talk to each other until that Thursday and Friday =). he lowlight of my week would be Tuesday. Yeeeeaaahh, that intro job didn't go well for me. The last side of the intro wasn't working, so I (Like an idiot) just ignored that it wouldn't and burned the intro. When I put it in the DVD player, the last slide said "Error." So with all the time I had left, I remade the WHOLE ENTIRE intro >=( bad mistake because once the bell rang, that was when the intro finally burned. I ran as fast as I could, (Which wasn't very fast because I was wearing skinny jeans,) all the way to the library and come to find out that the last slide was cut off!!! I was so mad at myself for making such a stupid mistake. But I learned my lesson anyways. I got it all figured out. I think.

       Lesson learned, always be ready for what's coming at ya. Life is about being ready, and if you're not ready, then life is coming at ya anyways because there is no do overs. There won't be another "This morning." So no matter what always be ready for what is coming, because you never know, one day you expect to have a good day, but no. Life is going to put hardships on that day, and it'll turn out to be a bad day =(, but it's ok, that's why you have to be ready at what's coming bruh ✌. Another lesson that I learned, is that we can't always depend on technology, just like time, technology has its flaws. Sometimes the things we do that's wrong, (say, on a laptop,) isn't our faults because technology isn't perfect. Also that we shouldn't get so mad at ourselves because of what happened in the past. Whatever happened in the past happened, and there's no changing that, it's ok if you did something wrong in the past, you still tried.

 

Okk week

     
         Hiii guys, so this week was actually okay, not really that great, but at some points it was. This week , the jobs my group and I had was CCTV and after school sales!! After school sales wasn't difficult at all actually.. It is actually really simple. I just had to wait for someone to say "door" then I close the door and put everythibg away and Im done. So anyways, I was so happy that I could go on CCTV, but I wasn't too good.. Mr. Ing said I sounded like Mickey Mouse, LOL. I'll take that as a compliment because everyone loves Mickey Mouse =). Anyways, Monday was Petriese's spotlight, but I was in charge of the bulletin. I remember when Petriese was practicing right before she was live, and Joylyn thought that she was starting, so Joylyn put her on live when she wasn't supposed to! It was kinda funny, not being mean though... Then Tuesday was Joylyn, she did a pretty good job, but she was talking a little too fast and she forgot to turn on her mic, wee need to remember that next time *Laughing emoji* (Cuz that emoji is so awesome and I use it for everything) Then Wednesday came up, and it was my turn for TV, I guess I did pretty good, I remembered to turn on my mic and I talked loud enough, but my voice is too squeaky and I talked to fast.... Its ok though, I learned my lesson already. Then came Thursday, the day before the Welcome Social! Taylor was on CCTV so I didn't work because Petriese put us i different groups, I'm always paired up with Lori =). Thursday wasn't much, just preparing for the Welcome Social, plugging in the iPod for the lunch music, and working on our slideshow of ourselves. I'm almost done with my slideshow, I just need to make a video, my theme is pandas. They are adorable. LOL, okay so anyways, Friday, the day of Welcome Social. Lori was on CCTV Friday. Anywaysss, in the morning during homeroom, we got to blow up balloons with a peice of paper inside of it. It took me forever just to blow up the first balloon because I thought it would be easy, but it was too hard... So after that what we did during our period was move some things sround in A101 and A102. We tried out some games, we tried out the washer toss and the ring toss. It was fun! But it was hard as usual, I can never win those things, I swear. What we also did on Friday was count money in that really cool coin seperater tracker thingy. I never knew that they had a coincmachine that could count and SEPERATE coins. I want one of those 😂. After school on Friday was actually more fun than I thought it would be, I got to wear shorts for once!! I was happy because all day during our classes, we had to wear pants and because we had our yellow shirts on, we HAVE to wear pants =(. It's okay though, those pants I had were awesome pants. Welcome Social was really fun, I got to jump in the bouncer 😂☺️. My job was going around and taking pictures of everyone. Best job ever. I had a lot of fun taking those pictures because its a job where I get to run around and do something I love doing!!

           The highlight of my week would be Friday at the Welcome social. Not much people came, but it was actually kind of fun. Everyone from last year said that Welcome Social is kind of boring, but honestly, I had fun. Taking pictures, jumping in the bouncy castle. That was reallllly fun. I saw a lot of other people having fun too, even of there weren't a lot of people, everyone had their little groups. I'm sure everyone had fun even though there wasn't much to do. It was still REALLY REALLY fun. Most of the pictures I have of Welcome Social were from the canon camera though -.-. That suckss. The lowlight of my week would probably be Monday. Petriese slapped me on the head because I accidentally pressed the space bar while she was still reading the bulletin.. I didn't know I pressed the button so I stood there for like 5 seconds wondering why Petriese looked so mad at me... Her slaps hurt though 😂😂 LOL, but I learned my lesson for that too.

          Lesson learned, don't assume that events are boring just because it was boring in the past. I mean come on people, things can always change. Am I right? If I thought an event was gonna br boring just because it was boring in the past, I'd go to that event in the present year because you never know that things coukd change into something better. Another lesson I learned this week is to talk a little more low and slower. Mr . Ing said I sounded like Mickey Mouse, and I reallly don't wanna sound like Mickey because Mickey can be irritating sometime LOL. I also need to talk slower on tv, a lot of my friends were like, "Naya, I didnnt know what you were saying on tv because you were talking too fast." Thats weird because I always talk kind of slow, so Im not really sure, but its okay. I learned my lesson everyone.
