late blog | 4/25

       Ok so this week , period 3 was in charge of id's which i think is one of the most boring jobs ever ! lol I'm sorry , but like i just cannot stand sitting there and waiting for people to come in to buy an id . so anyways , monday , the periods were odd , and all we did for period 3 was take a short tour for the meeting on friday and were counting the coins from spirit week . period 1 , 5 , and 6 were all boring lol . tuesday was evens , i hate my evens , they're boring . wednesday was odds , i think all the money we counted was done with so we didn't have to count any more money , and it was also the last day for us 7th grade class officers to collect ice palace forms . thursday was evens , and that was honestly the best evens day i have ever had . like oml , i loved that . only some people know why , but it was a good day on that day . friday was ok , lol we were just working on graduation slideshow and all that , but I'm not in charge of that since I'm an officer , but i still finished some of that slideshow .

       highlight of my week would be thursday , lol SOME people know why , but id rather not say anything right now because i don't want to lol say anything because i just don't want to lol . and friday was also a good day . i had a surprise for lori , but mr . ing left early , so i couldn't get the stuff out of my cubby that i wanted to . . . i was gonna spray her with whip cream and the spray can stuff . lol sorry lori . the lowlight of my week would be tuesday because i hate my evens classes . idk why , i just like my odd classes more , probably because i get a free period .

      lesson learned , always be prepared and don't forget things . i wasn't prepared for any of my even classes because i always forgot my papers at home or i forgot to do one of the homework pages . i always forget things , its just a habit of mine . a really bad habit . . . i seriously need to STOP forgetting things and be more prepared for things , thats how you will succeed in life .

ok week

       I noticed I haven't been doing my blogs for a while . well I have , it's just that when I post it , it doesn't actually post . the whole blog that I did just gets deleted , and I fixed blogger this time lol . I swear it's good . I think . but now I have to redo all my blogs . . . . this is going to be fun . so imma just start with this week . So monday , I'm not really sure what happened , but we were in charge of tv . And after school sales , there's no more lunch music . I'm not really sure why , I think because all the 8th graders switch the ipod with their phone , or someone keeps touching the ipod when they're not supposed to . but anyways , I think lori and I went on Monday . I'm not really sure . Tuesday idk who went on tv . And I'm not really sure what happened on tuesday . wednesday was the only day that I didn't curl my hair . then on Thursday , chad , taylor , and I went to mr . barayuga's class during period 3 . it was fun because mr . shim and mr . barayuga gave us whoppers . I was racing with Chad . I won 😂😂 . and then friday , mr . ing had banquet , so we had to find an advisory class and 3rd period . I had mr . shinn for advisory , it sooo fun 😂😂 once I got into the class , everyone was like " Hi naya :) " and then someone turned in one of those pink survey forms and they all started cheering realllly loudly . it was funny because they were like " we're getting ice cream !! " and all that . and then we went outside . and it started raining , so I had to run inside , and I was wearing slippers so my feet were all wet 😩 but they had paper towels thank god . lol . and then during period 3 , we were writing all over mister's board . and I brought like 2 chimichangas , so I didn't starve .

       the highlight of my week would be Thursday . I guess because I got to eat on that day . lol and I love mister's class . it's always fun . the lowlight of ny week would be friday . something bad happened on that day that I'd rather not talk about at all because it made me cry .

       lesson learned , we're not always happy in life , and that's not a bad thing . it's ok if you're sad , just don't shut out the world or else you're going to feel even worse . talk to someone , they might have had personal experience and could help you through your tough times .

another late blog lolol | 4/11

      yaaay ! so this week is finally orientation week . all this preparation was for this ! so we are in charge of music , and i didn't have to pass out any forms , so i could finally work , but people kept saying we were replaying songs , so they kept making fun of us , or they kept yelling at us , messing with the speakers , and talking crap about how we keep replaying songs . i hate when people do that because everyone replays songs . like I'm sorry if we are replaying songs , but we don't always do that , they just need to picture themselves in our position , if you want us to stop replaying songs , you might as well do our job and we'll stay outside while we're trying to help you guys . they don't know how much things we do for them . anyways , on monday , hope , dayna , and i had to talk to ms . sky about the field trip we were having on tuesday because we weren't able to go on the field trip because we had orientation . she got mad at us for telling her too late , was like , "its not our fault . we didn't know that we had orientation because no one told us until today because we never knew what days we had for orientation ." she's irritating , i hate that teacher . Ok so also on monday we were going over the dress rehearsal for orientation , it took us about an hour after school just to finish it . Tuesday was the first orientation it was crazy because the flats that i had for my costume were tight and they were killing me , but orientation was funny . the group that i had for my tour was funny , one of the questions the kids asked me was , "What is that ?" my response ? "A trash can ." lol it was funny . We also didn't have practice during lunch which is a good thing because i really wanted to hang out with some people . Wednesday we had practice though . Thursday was the 2nd orientation . That one was crazy because the music for period 3 started late , so we messed up , but its ok . And lol the group that i had for the tour took so long , they asked SO many questions , dude . it was irritating .  We also had orientation night for the parents . Friday was pretty good . i think lol , idk i don't remember .

      Highlight of my week . Thursday , after orientation night . I was just so glad orientation was over . i was so happy it was over because i was dying . like i was so tired when i got home because of orientation . I was just happy it was over . i couldn't do anymore orientation . i was just so tired of it . the same routine , the same clothes , the same everything . but ayye , I'm just glad its over . the lowlight of my week , nothing really . i actually had a really good week lol .

       lesson learned , hard work pays off . I was wondering why we needed so many days of practice , but after orientation , i learned why we needed so many days of practice . hard work ALWAYS pays off .

late blog lol | 4/4

       So this is a REALLY late blog lol . I'm sorry , so anyways this week was a really crazy week . Period 3 was in charge of ID's , but lori snd i were working on passing out 7th grade class day forms and 8th grade banquet forms . Monday i have no idea what happened , but we still had practice for orientation and like , our banner wasn't ready yet . lol . because taylor them needed the projector so we didn't finish the banner . but we finished it thank god . it looks really nice . Tuesday , we practiced again , I'm really proud of lori , she memorized her speech very well . like idk how people can memorize such long speeches , it came to her easily . Good job lori lol . Wednesday , i have no idea what happened , but i was working on my costume for orientation . it os actually working out pretty well . It looks really nice lol , but i don't look italian in it . Thursday we were working on everything we needed to work on . we finally finished our banner thank goodness because that was like the last day we had to finish our banner , and then friday we didn't have school :( which is bad because i wanted to see my favorite person on friday . lol , its ok .

      Highlight of the week , would be finally finishing the banner , like we had to finish it last minute . without having period 3 as the last day , i thin that would've killed us because we probably wouldn't have finished it . its a good thing we did finish though . Lowlight would be friday , like we didn't have school , which is usually a good thing for certain people , but for me , it was a bad [thing because i wanted to see certain people , so i couldn't see the people that i wanted to , especially because i couldn't go out of the classroom because i had to pass out 7th grade class day forms and 8th grade banquet forms . And i can't see those people after school because they always leave before i can finally see them .

      Lesson learned don't complain , complaining just makes things worse . like complaining won't really help anyone in life . like , seriously , what is complaining going to do for you , nothing , exactly , so why would want to complain ? It just makes no sense at all . lol . its stupid if you complain . I learned that the hard way . trust me , i should know . I would complain and complain about stupid things that i don't like , and it didn't even help at all .

3 orientations down !

       Tuesday was crazy . it was fun , but boring . tiring , yet awakening . just overall crazy . there were many things we had to do just for the upcoming 7th graders to know what they're allowed to wear , where they're allowed to go during school , and all the information needed to know about isa , uplink , and id's , fees , yearbook , and other things . Thursday was exactly the same . the same costumes , the same procedures , everything the same . the only things that were different was that we messed up during our dance on Thursday . the music started late , so we weren't able to start early enough , and we all got mixed up . and my tour took waaay longer than it was on tuesday . my group asked so many questions, everyone we stopped, skmeone had a question . especially at the end of the tour , they asked alllll the questions . that was basically the difference .
       things we could've done different was putting the music on time . technology isn't alway smart , even though it's like the biggest part of this world . that's basically all we could've done , because the music didn't go off on time , so period 3 messed up a little bit , but ayye , it's ok . we also could've made the music a little bit louder because I could not hear anything .
        things I liked about the orientation were seeing some of my friends from when I went to that school . it was nice to finally get to see them . and also to see everyone so embarrassed when we all were on stage dancing . lol its was funny . the thing I didn't like was that everyone was making fun of our dance .

1 orientation down , 2 to go

       ok , so 6th grade orientatpasses ,  when 6th graders from elementary schools come to ilima so that we can give them a tour of the school , give them an idea of what we're allowed to wear and what we're not allowed to wear , give them information on isa , uplink , id's , fees , yearbook , and all that stuff . overall , for out first orientation , I think we did pretty good . we didn't mess up , or stutter , we didn't fidget , and we did pretty good . I'm proud of us :) . even though they were laughing at us doing the dances , which was kinda rude , but funny , we did awesome . there were only a small amount of people that said thank you to us for doing all that for them , but it's ok ... overall , we were awesome , good job team :) , and even though we had a little but of miscommunication , we were able to fix it .

       highlight of orientation . I think it would be the whole rush of knowing what it was to be like in their shoes . and by "their" i mean last year's leadership group . I never knew they did all of these preparations and practices . they did a lot just for us to understand the dress code , sports , fees , and all that . It was fun being up on stage , just knowing that next year , there are going to be different people up on stage in my shoes . lowlight would be having them laugh at us ... our dance was funny , but that was kinda mean ... like I know they're 6th graders and all , but ehh whatever ...

       lesson learned , always remember that communication is always important when it comes to leadership . if we don't communicate with each other , some things aren't going to end up so well.

glo 2 // community contributor ; by being able to work together as a group , a team , and a period , we all earned the glo of being able to know that it is essential for human beings to work together .

glo 3 // complex thinker ; we had to find ways to swiftly change , get on stage , and be ready . by doing that , we all learned how to get arundel obstacles quickly and easily .

glo 4 // quality producer ; leadership produced a lot of information for the 6th graders to know about ilima . they learned about the dress code , fees , id's , yearbook , lunch payment , bus passes , isa , uplink , bell schedule , and schedule pick up .

glo 5 // effective communicator ; we all listened to what tiana , jahlyssa , lori , kaylyn , Jayde , and Emma were saying , making sure we heard our queue .

glo 6 // we use microphones , speakers , laptops , switches , and all that technology for this performance .

quarter 3 down..

       I seriously thought my other blog would've been posted by now, but I guess not, so now I have to make another one, LOL.

       once upon a time, an awesomely amazing person is making her blog at 7 in the morning... lol, ok so this quarter was crazier than the quarter 2, oml and i thought quarter 2 was crazy!! aight so there were so many fun things i did this quarter with my leadership family. we had yearbook, birthdays, spirit week, braces, bowling, races, and so much more. we started the yearbook pages i think during quarter 2, but we finished it! i had the winter fair spread, and band and avid spread. my favorite page that i did was the avid page. idk why, maybe because i just liked the pictures that were in there. there was like i don't know i think around 3 or 4 birthdays in quarter 3. we had Taylor, me, and hope. lol i have no idea who else had birthdays in quarter 3. oh my lord, the braces! in January, i finally got my braces, i was so happy because after i got my braces, like a month later, my front teeth were fricken straight. they got straight really fast. i was happy because my mom said that if i keep this up, my braces might come off by the end of the 2015. or like in the beginning of 2016. i was happy to hear that because I've always wondered how i would look with straight teeth and no braces. i just gotta wait, brush my teeth, and floss lol. oooh bowling, that was so fun, i had a lot of fun bowling, i went with hope, taven, cheana, kaylyn, and i think thats it lol... anyways, bowling was so fun, i got 2nd place in the overall between taven, hope, and i. at first i was in last place, but as it got to the last round, i got better and better, hope and i thought that we would look like idiots up there, but i dont even think anyone was paying attention to us at all.. spirit week, that was a crazy week. even though 7-1 wasnt even in the top 3, i still think we did an awesome job at spirit week. my team teachers dont care at all for spirit week i guess, they didnt dress out or donate anything for us, but they left it to us students to win. they were proud of us that we did it by ourselves. lol. so every day during spirit week, we had to come in at 6:30 in the morning, and tiana and i were in charge of team 8-2, they didnt really care about it or anything. but they still did pretty good in the relay race. i think, lol they got in last place... anyways, the races. for track. whew, that track meet was fun. i had to fill in for tiana for the 4 by 100, thanks to emma them, we got in 1st place for that race, and omg that 800 was crazy. the other girls kept a really fast pace, so thats what im going to try to do. i just need to practice running more often. lol thats really all i remember during quarter 3, besides having a lot of stress with grades and yearbook and all that stuff.

       highlight of the quarter, everything. this whole quarter was the best quarter out of 3. i had so much fun during this quarter. there was so much we got to do. spirit week was so fun. all the teams were so competitive. im glad that this school got so competitive. i dont know why, but competitive schools are the best schools, unless they take it too far.. anyways, getting my braces was the best part of this quarter, but like my teeth were killing me so much, like i could hardly talk, thats how much it hurt, like idk why my mom told me to still go to school while my teeth were killing me because my teeth hurt so much and like idk it just hurt a lot, but its worth it for straight teeth. anyways, the birthdays of this quarter were cool. i got balloons from hope, and she made me a cake. shes the besyt friend i could ever have. shes the best friend ever, shes not my best friend though, shes my sister, and even though shes irritating, thats how sisters are supposed to be. anyways, taylors birthday was during quarter 3 too, she had so many posters, i love taylor, shes cooo. lol, and then for hopes birthday we went to l&l to celebrate her birthday. it was fun, the food was good. and then for the track meey, oh my gosh, that was way more fun than i thought it would be. i had a lot of fun during the track meet, especially on the way back to the school because we were singing little Einsteins and all that lol it was so funnny and then we were saying to the statue of liberty guy that was out on the streets and it was just amazing, nad then i got a ribbon lol. lowlights of the quarter, hmmm, having to get up early just to make it to school by 6:30 in the morning during spirit week. and then track was a hassle, i missed like 2 weeks of track practice because i was sick. iv hated being sick especially when there's so many important things i had to do.

        Lessons learned,use time wisely, because if you dont, you wont get important things done. and if you re too worried with one thing, you might not finish other things. and dont lie, if you start to make lies. it'll come back to smack you in the face... lol there were so many other lessons i learned, but i would take too long to just list them all....  yay, I'm so happy he's in my group. kill me now. lol jk , chad's cool lmao .
