3rd week at Leaderhsip

        Yes, it was already the 3rd week of Leadership! Time flies by so fast! I had so much fun with my team making banners that say "Lunch Payment", which is my job for the schedule pick-up on July 22. We also made another banner that says the 7th grade lines from A through K and L through Z. My team and I had fun setting up and taking down the speakers that play the music for the students. I also got to learn how to burn and make my own intro for Ilima TV. Everyone learned how to make receipts for the payment of uniforms, PE shorts, etc. we also learned how to make applications for the yearbooks and playlists for the music thanks to the Leadership Program's leaders, Petriese, Jah, Cheana, and Jayde.

       The highlight of my week was setting up the speakers and playing very interesting music. I learned a lot of different kinds of songs from my friends. They played so many cool songs, that I don't have a favorite song anymore because I like to many songs and having to bond with my friends by going to Hope's pool and having a sleepover with this awesome pillow fight at Julia's house. I had fun with Kaylyn, Petriese, Hope, Jah, and Julia. The lowlight of my week would be setting up the speakers, but not being able to make the music come out from the speakers outside! Lori and I made sure we plugged in all the plugs and that the speakers were on and everything was on, but what we forgot to do was turn on the white plug thing to make everything work! Lori and I took very long to figure it out until we had to put away the speakers and everything and have Jah tell us "You forgot to turn that on." and Lori and I were like "NOO WONDER!!" But we learned our lesson.

      I learned that it is better to work as a team instead of being independent because if it wasn't for working a team, I wouldn't know any music to put in before the song ended, or finishing the banners. Without my team, I would've failed. That's what Leadership is about, working as a team. I'm proud to have such an amazing team. I'm thrilled to be apart of the family.
